Cummins MPG vs. Dodge Caravan MPG: Gotta love diesels!

Fife, WA Flying J at $1.079 today, but not a value. [long]

transmission temps do not rise with the grade bracking . The DURAMAX runs so cool reverse flow cooling, gear driven pump . I can run with my winter cover over radiator 40 degrees out and the temp rises about 10 degrees over normal . Which raises transmission temp slight. Got to protect those heads. Under heavy load I am sure all temps will be up. Only had big payloads no towing to speak off.

Thanks.

Just prodding for some info on the new wheels.

I am still not too clear on what you were saying about the reverse flow pump???? To use up HP from braking the heat must go somewhere, thats thermodynamics. I would like to see what its like on the hill with a good load.

Thanks anyway...
