Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Limited Slip 3.55 or 3.54?

My truck has 3. 55s as stated on the hood tag but no where does it mention Limited Slip. Also, most of the sigs I see of trucks of members here with 3. 54s say "3. 54LSD" and most the trucks with 3. 55 say just "3. 55".



Does this mean I have an open diff? No LSD? Doesn't really matter to me, just curious. It is a 99.

My 2001 has 3. 55 with lsd (isn't that a drug )

The code is DSA and will be listed on a tag on glove box door.

DC calls it anti-spin diff.

3. 54 and 3. 55 are the same gears. I think I heard that the actual ration is something like 3. 545454...



Both the 3. 54 and 4. 10's are avialbable with or w/o LSD.
