My PE4200 just took a dump!

Friend wants to buy E-brake for new 04.5 6spd

Sure could use some of the knowledge you guys have! 10 days ago I went to our familys beach house and when I got there I discovered my registration for the boat was expired so I went to the truck and started it bu talled-- I thought this is strange. Cranked again and this time it started but was running rough, pulled out of the drive and no-power I mean this thing would not get out of its own way I stopped at auto parts store to purchase a new fuel filter (current one has only 3k on the clock) but they didn't have one, so I just pulled out the filter to give it a visual and it looked good. I drained off some of the fuel and reinstalled filter, no change. I then called my dealer 100 mi. away and the service writer said sounds like its in limp mode drive it back and we will take a look at it. I could barely get to 40 mph and the thought of driving for 90 mi. on the interstate without power down here is a accident looking for a place to happen. so I called the local dodge dealer who gave me the 800 number for a wrecker to pick-up and bring to their dealership. Well this is the 7th working day they have been looking at the problem without a fix. They have talked to people in detroit who gave them instructions on how to repair code #2149- fuel injector group 2 supply voltage circut, They replaced the wiring harness that didn't work, they said they replaced the ecm and that didnt work, so now they called the school in orlando that teaches the DC techs and according to the service writer they will be sending some one to try to fix this truck. I had a ez on it but removed prior to the arrival of the rollback, hopefully they will not detect that it was on there truck only has 30k on it and I am aprehensive. Sorry this is so long but cannot explain in short. some one out there must have vast knowledge on these 3 gen limp mode problems, It doesn't seem like DC is going to get to the bottom of it too soon. Thanks for reading and hopefully responding.

Well Im going to leave this post, no one responded to it but thats o. k. because its really posted in the wrong forum. Hopfully it will help some one in the future, a while back I had a problem with injectors leaking in wot mode, they(DC) replaced 2- injectors and evidently 1 of those shorted out sending the code and putting the truck in limp mode, anway thats the word from the service writer yesterday it only took them 10 working days to figure out this one ! If their analysis is correct I should get the truck back tommorow.
