Thanks, TDR Staff

Anyone fabbed up an aluminum fuel tank?

This socket set I like

Good looking machine. I would chance to guess that has a pulser on it as well?

What are you building? That frame in the background looks like a 32 Ford?

I don't consider TOOLS to be toys... . Tools are something extra special that allow you to transform ordinary materials into works of art, or functional pieces. They also require a delicate balance of skill and mechanical ability. Toys on the other hand are just that, TOYS!

Thanks for the kind comments on the shop, I try to keep it clean but it's a loosing battle while projects are under way. Thankfully I just got the truck off the lift that has been sitting there for the past 3-4 weeks. The shop is my hobby center.

The chassis in the back ground is for a 1933 Ford Tudor, we have been working on it for a while now, It's called Project"COBRA'33" and you can follow it's progression by going to www.proweldperformanceparts.com and then following the COBRA'33 link. It a really cool project.

Since when did they stop including a power cable ????? You learn something new everyday. I suppose if I was them I would not include one with a new welder as well??? Saved them some and cost me $80. 00. So be for warned, some new welders do not come with a power cord.

Yes, the welder does have a TIG Pulser. It is an option, but one piece I would not be without. They also come with Micro Start and of coarse it's water cooled. I've waited and saved for a long time for this welder.

Wow, you've got a great website, Y-knot! I'm sorry I never noticed it until now.

AMS might be someplace I might consider buying some metal from in the future. I frequently have need of very small quantities of metal. I usually get them from a local shop, but AMS has a much larger inventory.

Wow, I am jealous. I about became single ordering the precision tig 225. What an awesome machine. Within 20 minutes I was welding 065 alunimum sq tubing. I am building a Shelby daytona coure replica from the ground up. I am making my own ft control arms but I also have the winters q change. Its a very nice, strong setup and was cheaper than a beefed up ford 9". Very nice shop. Did the 2 post lift fit under the 12' ceiling or is it up in the trusses? I need one and have 12'8" chearance. Have fun with the Build!!!

Our lift is 11'-11" high and our ceiling is 12'-3" high, no clearance problems at all. I do plan on having fun with the build and new welder. Thanks for the compliment.
