Lincoln sp-100 Argon settings

I need to know what to set my pressure at on my Sp-100. The kid was turning the regulator and i don't recall what the pressure setting was.

My Brother I run my Mig and Tig at about 20 cfm,Try it and tune it from there

The lower the setting & still have a clean weld , less if inside with no air to blow away the gas , inside of conner - what your welding .
More gas if outside - tube / conner , near fan or out side with wind blowing .
The idea being to save on gas costs & have a good weld , you may , under the right conditions use just a couple lbs , if you have to weld in bad conditions , outside in the wind , you may have to go to 40 + lbs , then some conditions require different gases .

No project in particular, I just use the welder as needed for small jobs/hobbies and so on. In fact i don't use it much that's way i don't recall the settings.

As stated, around 20 cfm for normal shop conditions, any noticeable movement of air will affect weld.

Hey Bud, I am not sure of the Powersupply you have. GTAW or GMAW? 10CFH for GTAW with a gas lens collet body and cup. Less if the orifice is small with no drafts. More info please. GregH
