I know I said I wasn't going to mod my new truck, but alas, I broke down. My wife and I had to take our daughter to Birmingham this week, and due to my wife's work schedule, we went in two vehicles... . just in case the hospital stay ended up being longer than expected. Anyway, I did my homework beforehand and found a reputable Line-X dealer in Trussville. I had Line-X installed in the bed of my new truck including the rails. I am VERY pleased. Once Hurricane Dennis moves out, I'll take some pictures and put them in my gallery. Sure beats the look and toughness of the Rhino Liner in my old Ford.

Also picked up a set of Dodge Slush Mats, and with all this wet weather, I'm lovin' 'em.

Received my TDR membership packet in the mail when we got home today. Lots of great stuff in there. Is there a standard location for TDR decal placement?

No standard on the sticker I know of. I used the smaller sticker on the back glass lower passenger side. Hopefully here someday when some extra cash flows my way the Line-x will be installed on mine. :D

Line-x is great. I've had three trucks with it.

I put my TDR sticker on the rear window, left side.

Hey Klenger... Who taught you how to spell "Artic"? :-laf ? :-laf ... Your budyy at AFNash.com... Oly-Vu

Congrats on the new liner!

I'm a LINE-X dealer in Fort Worth, Texas. Let me know if you have any questions.

By the way, I could get a TDR stecil made and could spray the logo in the bedliner, like this:

We also spray non-fading color matches:

Just had mine done, including rails. They wanted more than "Rhino" for the job but wound up matching Rhinos price including a "$50 off coupon" from Costco. Total was $503. :D

Pictures

Here are the pictures of my new Line-X bedliner. Got this done at Line-X of Trussville in Birmingham, AL. Total cost was $530. 00. Very happy with it. You just can see the fairing of my Harley in the second picture!

Line-x is great stuff. I had mine done a month or so ago - $420 over the rails. Someone recently posted $375 over the rails they paid. Sounds like Trussville is a little like Beverly Hills ;) Looks great, and congrats on your first mod!

I paid $325. 00 for mine over the rails. I got it done through a "friend" so I didn't pay retail. It is starting to crack around my gooseneck hitch. I guess I got what I paid for.

I have had 2 trucks with Line-X and have no complaints with the product.

Non-fading? Is this a new development? The general consensus was that the colors still faded? I'd like to get the rocker panels done when I get my new truck but was hesitant to get red for fear they would be pink in a few years! :(

I use Dupont Ful-thane Nason paint for color matches. Nason is a urethane based automotive paint. With this method, your liner will not fade any faster than your truck's paint. Not all LINE-X dealers are familiar with this method though. Also, we use the factory paint code to get an exact color match.

I posted a few color match pics above, here's a couple more:

i just had mine done over the rails. i like the linex, but i am a little upset they sprayed over the bolt heads on the tailgate, i didn't think i had to specify them not to spray them. also, i thought a read the floor of the bed was supposed to be like 1/4" and 1/8" on the sides. mine is about 1/8" all the way around, is this right?

Just had my Line-X done in Lewisville, TX. My short bed was $420 under the rails and $75 more for over the bed rails (got that done). They have an online coupon for $20 off and they charge $20 to dispose of your old bedliner. So my old bedliner is listed in the "Pay It Forward" forum.

They also installed the B&W turnover ball hitch - very nicely done - AND I had them install the Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller. The charged about $50 to install the controller, but they put an extra 7-pin trailer connector in the side of the bed included in that price. All in all, very well done, good clean installation.

A buddy has the Rhino-liner and its peeling around his gooseneck hitch - so I like the lifetime warranty and that you can get service at ANY Line-X shop nationwide.

http://www.linexnorthtx.com is their website

http://www.linexnorthtx.com/coupon.php saves you $20

Hercules130: Most dealers, including my shop, remove the hardware before spraying, but not all do. You really can't tell how thick it is just by looking at it. If you think the bed is too thin, take it back to the dealer and inquire. He should have an electronic guage to test the thickness.

CPittman: I know the Lewisville owner very well (Sean), he's a good friend and he has a very nice new location. There are a few of us DFW LINE-X dealers that meet often to discuss the business. We work together to insure that the public can go to any LINE-X dealer in our area and receive quality workmanship and consistant professionalism.

Let me know if you have any questions!

CPittman is there any reason that you did not use the Line-x dealer in Plano. At least I think there's one in Plano, and it would be the closest for me when I decide to get-r-done. Although Lewisville is not that much farther away.

Tony - I'm in the Lewisville / Flower Mound area every day on business so that shop was easy for me to visit and check out. I found out later that they are one of the largest Line-X franchises in the nation - so that was nice to know. The store is nice and clean... lots of cool truck toys like winches, bumpers, tool boxes, etc.

Then the icing on the cake was that they carry in-stock, and install the B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch. I needed the hitch, but cutting through the factory plastic bedliner would look nasty, so I was forced to get the Line-X bedliner done at the same time.

I wish I would get "forced" to get a set of Ranch Hand bumpers too...
