I bought my truck used. I was wondering if there was a way to get a list of all the options that came with the truck new? Tow Package (no towing package when I purchases the truck, but noticed afterward that it looked like there was one and someone had taken it off), Camper package (don't know how to tell if it has one), etc. #ad

Yes I can see most of them, I'm just curious.

------------------
99 Quad Cab, White, SLT, 4x4, 5-sp, 3:54's, LSD, Loaded except cab lights and leather, Raven cap (cab high), Rhino liner, Stainless Nerf Bars, Stainless Rocker Panels, Tow package, Pro-flap mud flaps (Stainless Cummins "C" coming to add to rear flaps), Power Edge (my first BOMB), Valentine One, Amsoil throughout, CB Radio.

Things to come;

Hadley Bully Air Horns, 285/75R16 Cooper A/T's, SPA Pyro and Boost gauge, 4" exhaust system, DDIII's, Psychotty Air Filter.

If your truck has the camper package, it should have a sway bar under the rear axle. That is the only visual difference I can see between my truck (with) and other trucks I have seen (without)

On my truck (98) there is a printed sticker on the underside of the hood just behind the grille which lists the build-out of the truck in English. There is also a stamped plate on the front passenger's side of the core support next to the CAC that lists the build by codes (ETH, DDC, etc. ). I believe the FSM has some if not all of the codes and what they stand for. If not, your friendly local Dodge dealer can tell you what they mean. Of course, the sticker & plate will only tell you how the truck left the factory; dealer-installed equipment will not be listed. Hope this helps.
Just found my list of codes for 1998- I think 99 should be the same. Trailer Tow Group code is AHC, Aux. Rear Suspension Group (helper leafs & stabilizer bar) code is AHJ.
Again, hope this helps.

If you go to any dealer the parts department can print out a sheet that gives all options that your truck came with. It even gives you the part# of the springs. All you need is your vin# and an agreeable parts man or service writer.

Another useful tip. A dealer can enter your VIN and mileage into their computer and print out wholesale and retail blue book prices. This includes a list of all factory options.

Just a Little BOMBed and liking it a lot. :p

They can also print out all dealer service/repairs preformed on the rig,this could come in handy when looking at buying a used Ram.
