Yep... with the speed jeans pumping air to the lower extremities and doing the Hick' drill does help.

Could be testing the NewGen GE turbines for the 74-8... not really sure though.

Big', if memory serves, weren't you attached to the FAC's back in the day? OV-10, O2,O1 guys had iron clad cajones. Low and slow with a price on their head. IMO took true metal to fly in those conditions.

Ya I was Ground Crew Chief on a FAC's / remote emer. air strip. 3 miles from Cambodia 3 miles from the Gulf of Thailand. Just to be perfectly clear WE WERE NEVER IN CAMBODIA :-laf. My Primary was F111/F4 but after Tech School Sheppard AFB TX they sent me to Langley AFB. VA. Didn't even unpack duffel they looked at records and said oh a smart A** and sent me to Nellis AFB NV. Never hit the flight line spent 1 month 18 hours a day 7 days a week working on OV-10/O-1/O-2/ A1 Sky Raiders AKA Sandy's. Sent me to Da Nang to work on what ever the Marines/Navy had going on at the time. Also hit Takli/Udorn/korat/Udapow not sure about all the spellings on those its been awhile. Also got to visit a Navy Aircraft Carrier and see what that was about Landing on that wasn't enough taking off was TOTAL B S that my friend is SOME SICK I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. After my whorl wind visit of beautiful SOUTH EAST ASIA they sent me to a bug infested I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER hole of the world. Our FAC/Emer strip for the next 16 months to work on anything that didnt leave TO BIG A CRATER. Ya the FAC boy's did some dangerous work for what ever government agency they worked for (I didnt want to know) But the guy's with the BIGGEST SET OF GRANITOIDS were the Sandy Pilots close air support was hell on MY planes. Many times they came back with tree branches stuck in control surfaces white as a ghost. What's a matter boy's get a little LOW DID YA :-laf Holes in the wings big enough to put 55 gal drums thru them. That's why when that PUNK A** HOLE on this site said that the AF was not a real branch of the Military I got ******. HE"S STILL AN A HOLE. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ya I did work on air planes why do ya ask :D Isn't it just a FANTASTIC DAY ANYONE ELSE NEED A BREW AND MEDICAL MARRY JANE JOINT

No problem although I dont think the the VC were going to hit the beach in Calif. But im REALLY HAPPY TO SEE That good/bad what ever our choice is about whats going on in the Rag Head country's that ALL BRANCHES OF THE MILITARY have our support. I go to the V A Hospital in Missoula and pick up my Med's and talk to the cowboy's that have come back from over there and for the most part at least they dont have an unpopular opinion to deal with while doing their Rehab. We have opened our door to them and have had one or two take us up on it.

Yes I did. There is some sensitive information that i need to filter out before posting. Taking the wife out for Mexican dinner tonight... always puts her to sleep right away. I'll try and post it later.
