Competition Live Muncie Updates.....

I think they are going to do live updates from the Sled Pulls, and Drag Racing over on AllDieselMotorSports.com. The site is new, and mostly for competition events. There is even some talk about making it a forum for the DHRA. There is not even a front page for it as of this second, but that should be fixed tonight. The site is going to have an interesting crew, something like an "Ask HVAC", and maybe even an "Ask Sled Puller" type of column.



Just thought I'd mention that for anyone not able to make it, wanting to know who does what.

Don't know when I will leave, tried to finish up some stuff last night, pop off valve... . can't control boost anymore, and found a fuel leak that I fought till 3:00am, think I have the fix for it now. Got one new part waiting on the other to come in RED this morning then clean up, packup and leave.

You've gotta love the last minute guys.



Let's see, in the last 3 days.



New twins, new rearend, made front bracket for hanging weights, made driveshaft loops, traction bar limiting straps, nitrous blowdown tube, and new wastegate assembly to try to get the 80 psi of boost down some so I can use more nitrous.



If the truck is even assembled by the time I'm ready to leave, I'll be happy.

FWIW:

I started on my twins setup last week..... and quickly realized that it was going to be a PITA... . especially since I could only work nights on it.



I kept on working until I realized I couldn't get all the parts in time.....



So - for now - the twins will have to wait. No sense rushing.



I did get a sweet wastegate, though - Turbonetics Deltagate Mark II (Racegate).



For Muncie it'll be single WH1C - non-wastegated 16cm², lots of smoke, high EGT's... . haha



Make sure all you guys with twins let me take a look under the hoods - I gotta see how everyone put their little twist on each setup.



Matt - time to go home and get a "five-finger-discount" on Dad's front driveshaft! haha

Friday night update... . cruise town raise hell smoke all mosquito's into submission, drain all beers out of tavern inventory and bench race . . pull out of restaurants parking lot make big smoke for all sitting outside to yell and shout go around block back to restaurant and beer till all hour end of up date

Update.

It rained so we packed inside of the Roadhouse. Rain tapered off and everyone started to pack into the campground and a few stayed at the Roadhouse. Weather is looking good for tomorrow. Lot's of SEXY-ASS trucks! This town loves it! If I can still keep my eyes open tomorrow night I will try to post.

Gotta go now!
