me or do I have folks who have great intentions BUT for somehow put dishes in the dishwasher without any concern for the water flow... I mean ..... How do they think the water can EVER get to that bowl to clean it ?????

Does this happen to you ????

Although I think I keep extremely busy during the day I can't believe that I have never once stopped to ponder that exact important question. When my wife lets me have time from my other household duties, probably late at night, I will think about that question and try to respond with a thoughtful answer. :D:D

I don't let my wife load it. She just jams stuff in there any place. When she does feel like getting off her a... ... . uh, I do it. And the kids cups and anything with a lip on the bottom goes near the FRONT so I can reach it to dump the little extra water off before i put stuff away. ;)

I tell you what I can't stand it when people load the dishwasher the wrong way. I don't understand how they can not understand that you can not put a huge bowl or baking pan over the water jet and somehow expect the water will still get to the stuff on the top.

Is incorrect positioning in the dishwasher better or worse than putting a dual wheel on in such a way that you could never get to the valve stem of the inside dual? Cause honestly, it's relatively easy to rewash a bowl or two.

Exactly ????

Man did you nail it... ... :)

My dad got banned from the dishwasher after he put Dawn dishwashing liquid in it. From what I was told mom caught it before it turned into a huge mess and the dishwasher took a few days to recover. Mom thinks he's getting senile but, after this incident I think he enjoys pushing her buttons.

I have never et a woman that either:

1) Thinks that a man can load a dishwasher.
2) Does not feel the need to rearrange the dishwasher after a man has loaded it.

I leave the dishwasher alone. I do all the cooking - serving and cleanup are another department. LOL I just wish I could learn to plate.

Same here, I do the cooking and somebody else takes care of serving and cleanup. If the dishwasher tears up, I will fix it but that's as far as I go.

I bought mine, installed it, and read the manual. The wife asked me why I loaded it the way I do and I said cause thats what the manual said. She said the manual was wrong.

And then the fight started... . :-laf

I am no longer allowed near the dishwasher

Your close! He is just a smart man who knew what it would take to escape that chore... .

I look at the sign in the kitchen that says, "If Mama ain't happy then nobody's happy", then I load the dishwasher the way she tells me to. She doesn't come out to the garage and tell me how to work on the truck, so I don't go into the kitchen and tell her how to do her stuff. Works for me-----most of the time, till my Coors Light tells me I'm smarter than her. Refer back to sign in kitchen! :D:D

after I got the lecture about how not to load the dishwasher, I asked the only thing that came to mind; does your head spin around baby?... that's all I want to know,... Does ... your... head... spin... a-round?

... then the fight started.

Dishwashers and honeydoos

Yep, I got the same problem. I can never do it right, but! I gotta do it during the week or we run out of dishes. I do pre-wash everything and get the big chunks off, otherwise that stuff clogs up the sink drain. Just try to get your Wife and Kids to pre-scrape the dirty dishes:rolleyes: It seems I have to rod out the sink drain line at least once a year! Of Course, thats OK cause I'm retired and I dont have a thing to do but watch soaps on TV and stare at the wall:rolleyes::-laf NOT! Just try to plan something for yourself! Thats when the honeydoos get really loaded on the list! "BUT, Thats gotta be done yesterday"!!!!!, echoes down the hall, while you are packing for a planned, short trip (My unasked question lingers in the air,"why did you tear it up just before I have to leave"?). It is very frustrating, sometimes. However, when the Boy is at school and my Wife is at work I load that dishwasher and run it with absolutely no noise from anybody. Just think, the dishes actually are just as clean as when she reloads it;). :D. Its one of those control issues, methinksOo. . GregH
