Loading small tractors/ 4x4's, etc Ideas /examples??

Well the snow is finally gone (except under my manure pile) and now the darn grass is growing at full speed!! (I like this kind of problem)

Really, who has the best solution for loading and unloading a garden tractor. I am looking for ramps (for our tall 4x4's) and maybe another idea about getting around the wheel wells in the bed.

My mower deck is just wider than the wheel wells in the bed.

I am considering building a plywood deck that will bring the floor of the deck level with the top of the wheel wells. I figure if I build it right, the ramps can slide under the deck. At this point I have a pallet on the bed of the truck with a horse stall mat on top of it.

I have a big car hauler but really don't want to put it on the road just for a garden tractor.

Check out www.oxlite.com for aluminum folding ramps. I got one to load my H-Ds into the bed that's wide enough that I can sit on the bike, stop on the ramp, and still put my feet down. They have several sizes.
My H-Ds weigh approx 750+lbs. Ramp cap. 1500+

I bought my ramp from a guy who put a lift-gate on a delivery truck. I paid $100. 00 for mine. It's 12' long and 2' wide. Cut it down if it's too long. I'll bet it would support my truck! The company that did the lift install had a stack of them sitting along the building.

I don't suppose you'd believe that I have a tall horse would you?

No, I had a loaner tractor with a bucket and played with it a bit much.....

I made a big big pile of that horse stuff but forgot about the insulating quality of horse poop!

That snow pile is still chest high, my goal is to make 7/4 and have a nice snowball fight. Might make it.
