Competition Local Pulling rules- long road

WEnt to the local gasser pulling club meeting tonight, and brought up Diesel rules.



What do you want?



7500 OPEN run what ya brung, nitrous, alcohol, propane, anything.



You would have thought I asked them to burn their trucks!

They freaked.



One particulary belligerent women, was really running at the mouth. I then realized she was the flagger, who made the mistake of standing off to the passenger side of my truck. Ooops.

Sorry, didn't recgonize you uh, er, cleaned up!



They are absolutely against anything but Diesel fuel, and want loops etc.

But several did mention how the smoker trucks are crowd pleasers, that is a good sign!



Anybody that can make some pulls in NW Pa, let me know.

I could drag my overvalved heap over that way Gene, not to far of a drive, and would be worth it, just to see the look on your face after I put you back on the trailer. I'll see what I can do about bringin' some others, i. e. , Dave and Darryll.

TRUCK PULLING

At our recent rules meeting the topic of starting/promoting a diesel class was brought up,and it went over pretty well. It looks like it would be a "run what you brung" type class,due to the fact that ther is no such thing as a "STOCK" truck class anymore. The name of our club is the BADGER TRUCK PULLERS. If you would like more info. let me know.

I was just in Mercer/Butler, PA the day after Turkey-Day (I went to the ORIGINAL Quaker Steak... hehe)... . so I guess I could venture out there to spectate until my truck gets some $$ slapped into it. I'll never really compete, but it would be fun to enter and break some parts... .

Oh yes, that is the highlight of competing, the parts breakage, and more fun is fixing parts.



Should have sent me an e-mail, that Q&L is only about 35 minutes away.



Johnboy has been to a few pulls on North Central PA NY border. Maybe you could make a few of them.

I'd be more than happy to go to a pull... . last time I went was back in early Sept - Shenago County Fair (sp?) in upstate, NY... .



Keep us updated on ALL pulls... . except for ones in GA, CA... . that's just too far away... .
