I've searched and searched and can't figure out if the stock Sirius satellite radio receiver mounts behind the passenger side rear seat or under the dash on the driver's side. I want to mount my Alpine reciver is the stock location so that I can use the power leads that I'm assuming are there. Can anyone help me out with a definitive location? Thanks.

It is under the dash on the drivers side. It is WWWAAAYYY up in there.

No, No, No, not WWWAAAYYY up there, WWWAAAAAAAAAYYYYY up there.

If you are trying to pull it out, the bracket is a little funky and not intuitive to the touch as to where the bolt is.

There are no seperate power leads, it is powered from the Radio interface cable. - If it were me, I'd abandon it in place and install the new one elswhere.

Thats what I did. The Alpine receiver is pretty small, so I tucked it up under the drivers seat and ran the antenna wire, power wire, ground, and radio cable under the carpet and through the slit for the power seat wires. it was very easy. now i just have to find a good ground spot under there... .

thanks guys.
