I want to keep the 3. 54 gears but on dirt and icy mountain roads I am constantly having the right rear get loose. Is anything but the traclok available? Its seems that the detroit is only for 4. 10.

Thanks

If you currently have a LS diff. in your trk. go to a reputable shop & order a set of cluches for it & have them install them on the 5 friction disc setting instead of the 3 friction disc setting that comes from the factory. works great.

It seems your choices are atleast a Power-Loc / Track-Loc / Detroit Locker ( you can use a H. D. 70 version and redrill the ring gear bolt holes for the 3. 54 case ) and the ARB .

Lincoln and Miller do offer a locker for every diff ever made but they are kind of hard on parts.

:D :D

One thought , You may have too much friction modifyer in your gear oil - if you do keep the T/L and re-stack the clutches ( I did and it works great on the street ) go easy on the additive or leave it out all together.

Chipstien ~ Nope modifier does the exact opposite to much will make the LS slip. This weekend with my dually had one side on ice and the other on grass and mud. It would not go only right side (mud side) Spun!!!! But gravel under both sides and off I go. Not sure why that happened. Use Amsoil 75W-140 without modifier. :--)
