I searched I didn't find any current info so I am posting to ask questions.
It's time for ball joints and since I am digging in this far I have been looking at Dynatrac, Yukon, Spintec hub conversions.
1st, has anyone purchased any of these kits?
How the did the install go?

Dynatrac is offering rebates on their hubs and bj's through 8/31.

Mine are going in next week.

How long has Dynatrac been making balljoints for 2nd gen trucks?
I was looking around for a quality replacement when I replaced mine a few years back and definitely don't remember coming across them. Bummer.

Freespins only for 2nd gens.

WHEN (not if) my current BJ's go bad those will be the next to go in. It's kinda odd if you think about it, these 2nd gens ain't no spring chickens anymore yet you have companies like Dynatrac feel it's worthwhile to develop and manufacture a new product for a truck that is at best 15 years old (for the 94-99 models).
Just think of the money they could have made if they would have been available all along

I've had mine on for 5 years and 100,000 miles and haven't done anything to them. Yes, you'll have to cut a hole in the hub caps. I have 2006 aluminum stock rims on mine. Mine stick out app. an inch past the tire.
