How are you launching?Put the truck in 4 hi & hold the brake at the start to build around 20 pounds of boost then let er fly. Do not build to much boost as it is hard on transmission parts & has even taken out a flex plate or two. Im not sure if locking the converter will help much since you have a tight converter to start with(DTT 92 right). Hey go to your user setup & fill in your sig so everybody knows what your running its alot easier to help if we know what you got. If you want to go fast you need power & i got just what you need ol buddy. . lol

Your times are right where mine are. I lock up the convertor by way of a lock-up controller. It locks up about 15mph. One problem I have is pulling the FP down to 0 My next visit to the track will be with a new/different lift pump and about 300lbs lighter, that should help me shed a few 10th's You could try loose some weight, that don't cost anything. After that if your like me you will be looking at twins. I'm also thinking propane.

What were your 1/8 mile and 60' info?

It shaved about 2/10's off my ET, I lock it up once im in 2nd gear. Some wait until 3rd, but I havent tried that yet
