Steve...

I went to log in today and after typing in my user name and password it took me to the "forgotten password/user name page. I know I typed the correct words and numbers in and I even did it multiple times and the same deal. I then hit the back button on my browser and it had logged me on and the forums came up,any ideas???.

I thought then maybe someone hacked me so I went and changed my password, cleared my cookies out and retried again, same results. Log on,forgotten user-name/password page comes up,hit the back button and I am logged on.

I am lost, any idea's???... ... ... ... ..... Andy

on edit.....

I now have figured out the only way for me to log on after this is when the forgotten password page comes up is to click on the discussions forums button and it lets me in,otherwise its no TDR website for me.

Strange bug Andy. There will be a totally new version of the forum software online in the VERY near future. Since I'm working hard on that I'm not going to take the time to look into this one since it'll be going away soon.

Great...

Well I thought maybe it was my system doing it and now have commandeered my sons laptop and it does it there also. I will stay away till the new software is online as it is a royal PIA to even log into this site. I post on many boards and this is the ONLY one that has this problem. So till then... ... adios... ... ... Andy

I'm having a similar problem. I get onto the forums OK and can post messages OK. But, I just tried to enter the home run contest and cannot get past the login screen. I admit, over time my login id and password have changed, but I think I have a complete record of those changes. I've tried them all but to no avail. By the way the reason I have more than one logon id and password is that in the past I have had problems "logging on". I wound up starting the registration all over with a new id and password.

Since the forum software will soon be changed I'll just forget the home run derby for now.

By the way, in two weeks my wife and I are going on a baseball tour of the western ballparks. Going to get on a bus that will take us to games in Phoenix, San Diego, LA, SF, Eugene (minor league game), Seattle, Oakland, & Anaheim.

The home run derby is run by a completely seperate company - you need to sign up for it. It has nothing to do with the TDR server or software.

Just don't log out Andy

Steve...

That is a good idea in concept, but, with 4 of us using this at times I don't do that. I run my Webroot cleaner every time I close the system down so others can not slip in and cause problems.

So,I'll just have to deal with it as it doesn't matter what system or web browser I use it does the same thing... ... ... ... ... . Andy
