Yet another 14 hour day.have to pay the price for being on vacation last week. At least Hoopty makes the 1 hour drive tolerable. And XM radio of course.

I'm all over the place with XM.

2,3,7,8,9,32,38,39 and when I'm completely headed for meltdown I go for the Broadway music, 72 I think.

What's the host's name on 72 in the morning? Seth maybe? Dang guy is annoying as heck but too funny to turn off.

Found it...Seth Rudetsky.

He is a little different for sure.

Sometimes it is nice to hear people that can sing without any electronic cover up.

I canceled my Sirius account because of the merger/buyout of XM radio. I do not like talk radio and that is what most of the station on Sirius/XM radio have turned into. Such as the 60's with Cousin Brucie on that station and the DJ on during the early AM’s. I still have this on my satellite Dish; part of the package so I have to put up with it when we use the Dish for music but I than play the BRIDGE.

So I have installed Blue tooth on my truck and play Pandora internet radio from the phone. You get to choose the format of what you want to hear such as 60’s, 70’s and 80’s together or classis rock and so forth. The wife likes the early 60’s and late 50’s + country so this is what she has formatted on her phone. Worked all the way out and back on my fall trip to MA, RI, ME, VT, and NY. Also no subscription cost; free except for a 30 sec commercial ever half hour or so it was funny to here a political commercial from IL in ME or VT.

X2 on Pandora! I was a hardcore Sirius fan until the merger with XM. XM brought their talking Dj's and that was it. I will not pay to hear DJ's talk..

The customization of Pandora is outstanding and for 30 bucks a year, I don't even have to listen to commercials..

Unfortunately I still have a Sirius account for the boat as cellular is not always available on the lake..

I wish I could use my satellite radio...................no go in Alaska.

Try Pandora radio on your phone simple app to download from the app store. The app is free; try and see if it will work in AK. I think it worked on my wife's phone when we where their last year on a cruise in port not at sea.
