STAR is the dealer tech support hotline. If a tech can't find a problem with a truck they call star. Star has a database of all problems and what finally fixed them. The pepole who answer the phone normally seem to be technical pepole and will tell you what other tests to perform, what is causing the problem, or what part needs to be modified or replaced.
