Longhorn Edition on the 05's?

I was in indiana off exit 150 with the guys at the go-kart place and there was a 05 ram that had the badge "Longhorn Edition" under the door badges. I was snooping around it but didnt notice anything visual other than the badges (it was dark so i coudlnt see inside the truck too well). The badges looked stock. Is this a factory option or some aftermarket upgrade? any changes from a stock other than the obvious. I didnt have my truck so i coudlnt slap a TDR membership drive flyer on the window

Dodge needs to do something like that though. The Laramie is pitiful next to a King Ranch Ford or an LT Chevy interior. The seats flat stink in my truck, flat hard, and they make my back hurt on long trips. The lack of memory seats is sad, the others have them and the stereo, even my Infinity system, stiks compared to the Bose in my Chev truck.



The Dodge truck has it all over the competition in the mechanical realm. Once you open the door and sit down though, I am bummed. What my truck needs is a trip to that West Coast Customs for new tunes and interior. Do you think MTV would pimp my Dodge :-laf

I believe it was the "Big Horn" group you are refering to. I have one. It is available normally only in 4 or 5 midwest states. Includes a list of options that are also avail individually. They are: Tow hooks, Fog lamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, sliding rear window, trailer tow group, Class iv hitch and 7-pin wiring harness. Not sure why they are offered like this only in some states. I am familiar with the group 'cause I just picked up my truck this morning in Milwaukee that included the Quad Cab Big Horn Value Group.

Got a whole 20 miles on the truck already and I love it!! Oh yes, meant to add: it is an '05 3500, dually.

They offer the same package in my area, and its called the Thunder Road Edition here. Has the chrome lettering under the door badging. Same options, different name.
