Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Another oil story. I ordered a 5 gal. pail of 15W-40 oil on a Monday and received oil on Thursday. The only problem was it wasn't what I ordered. Called customer service (novel idea, a phone # and a real live person). The gentleman's name is Lonnie and I explain to him that the oil delivered is not what I ordered. He checks his shipping and finds that I received the shipment that was suppose to go to another Dave in Calif. Some how the shipping labels were reversed. He calls dave in calif. and sure enough he has my oil. Lonnie arranges the UPS pickups and billing numbers to get the right oil to the right people. Superb service and Lonnie is apologetic. Now none of this really bothered me because I was amazed that I received the oil so fast and I actually could call and talk to someone that gave me honest answers. There is definitely something to be said about good customer service. While talking to Lonnie he informs me that on my next order I will get a 20% discount for my troubles. He also kiddingly mentioned that I may even get the right oil. If you are looking for Royal Purple I would recommend longrider.com for fast delivery and customer service and tell Lonnie that you are a member of TDR.
