Awesome!!

Dude,

Awesome looking model!! Is this a kit you are putting together, or are you making all the pieces yourself?

Eric , Hats off man I allways wanted to do one as I was a major model junkie a few years back. I often stood in wonderment at the hobby shop and my jaw just hit the floor every time I saw the Cutty Sark that was built in house. It measured something like 6 feet in length and allmost touched the ceiling of the store. The detail was something out of real life!

I then would buy whatever it was I needed and would contemplate getting a Mayflower kit myself (Not 3,000 dollars worth of kit like the one there) but the 300 dollar kit in the case. Of course I didn't. The detail on yours looks to be the same once finished.

Eric , You need a "to scale" 6BT marine engine to put in the stearn for those days of no wind!!:-laf :-laf.

Beautifull job!!! Chris

Good job!

Good job Eric. I have a model that is a little older, this one dates back to 1868. My Great, great, Grandfather was the captain of this ship. The model was built on a voyage by the ships carpenter for my Grandfather. He was lost at sea in 1881, all hands went down on this ship "The Norwegian" 933 ton Bark.

It was handed down through the years to me. I don't have anyone to give it to that will appreciate it or have time to restore it. Most likely it will go to Mystic bay when I die for complete restoration and display. Grandpa would like that. :D

NICE WORK!!:D

My parents were at St Pats day parade yesterday, and they said there was a 6' model of a Fletcher class destroyer, same class my Dad was on. Suffice to say, he was flippin out. :D

Very nice, I used to do some of that but there never seems to be enough time to do it right.

I really appreciate the workmanship and detail, it looks great.
