The very thing they are talking about is happening on their very own site... .
a V8 with a huge bottom end (i. e. PSD) can make just as much power per liter as a 5. 9L. I think inline diesels became the most common configuration because of the ease of maintenance (everything's right there on the side of the engine) and not because they're inherently stronger or more durable than a V8.
So does this explain why the 5. 9L Cummins makes more HP than the 7. 3L PowerStroke (BOMBed) ?
It is the strength and design of the Cummins that makes it a step better than the D-Max and P-S, It's just too bad Dodge restricts the motor so much. With an HX-40, better lift pump, DD2's and a little re-programming you could have a real hot-rod Cummins that could still go 400K, compared to the P-S expected 250K (6. 0L)
1. In a frenzy to do violence or kill: rioters running amuck in the streets.
2. In or into a jumbled or confused state: The plans went amuck.
3. In or into a uncontrolled state or a state of extreme activity: “This jam-packed area of Honolulu has come to stand for tourist development run amok” (Ila Stanger).
should we show our courteous nature and send "THEM" a picture of that Bad Boy and invite them over for a party:-laf :-laf Just being friendly and not stereotyped you know
When ever you go to the truck pulls you never see them guys there?? Maby 1 or 2 power jokes but never a 6. 2 or durapoke. Its is just a buntch of cummns and what always wins????A cummins,
What are them brain washed people thinking, besides I never seen a 6. 2 or a psd or a Dm with 1,000,000 miles and still going that is what sells me
There's a guy in Muncie with a truck he bought used.....
It had over 840,000 miles on it..... now he pulls with it in the summer... . and plows in the winter. Bottom end has never been touched. Gotta love that!
Atleast Dodge didn't go as Cheap as Ford did with International,,,
The Valves wil float on the new 6. 0L Powerstrokes at only 22PSI. When International was questioned about this, the said that Ford had them on a very tight budget devloping this new motor, and designing the motor for an E-Brake was out of budget.
