i am looking at a 2001 new cab with no bed dually 4x4

is the frame the same as a p/u truck frame?

these seem to come with 4. 10 rear i think a 3. 54 is better

but can only get in p/u ?

3. 54's were an option when I ordered mine. The frame is different on the 3500 chassis cabs. They're thicker. 12" center section vs. 9" on a normal 3500 I believe. I didn't need the quad cab, did want a flatbed, and decided I'd rather pay a lot less for a truck with no bed and a much stronger frame than a lot more for a truck with more cab and a pickup bed I'd have to throw away. I also got the 163" wheelbase, so I have 2 feet more bed than a normal pickup. .

There are quite a few left in Texas. Henson motor in Madisonville, TX has given me the best quote of anyone in the state. Their number is 1-800-530-JEEP. When I was buying a new pick-up I talked with the folks here who sell flatbeds. They said that the cab and chassis frame is quite a bit different from the standard 3500. i. e. beds will not interchange.
