Looking 4 a cab extender.

I have seen a small cab extender on a few RAMS that gives some added space behind the rear window. Its not one of those sleeper units but looks like one of those racer back units... I tried the local truck shops and they all had no idea what I was talking about. I know I wasn't dreaming. One even had a rear sliding window in it.
Anybody know who makes it?

The "mini" caps? Now that all the manufacturers are making club cabs etc. The popularity of the small extensions went down. Good luck in finding them. When I got the rhino sprayed in I had asked about them. That was the answer.

There is a company that makes these called A. R. E. . I think they are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. They make several models of what you are talking about. They have a website but I do not know the URL. When I have time I'll try to look for it.

Just found out that A. R. E. doesn't make these anymore. I'm sure someone still makes them because I saw a real sharp one (even though it was on a Chevy) about a month ago. The guy told me he bought it in Tulsa, OK. , but I can't remember the brand or dealer. Next time I see him I'll try to slow my Dodge down enough for him to catch up with me and I will get all the details.

I called all over Calgary and got zippo for success. I guess that tells me its an outdated thing and we all know we just don't want that kind of thing going on a state of the art truck like OUR RAMS!!!!
