looking at a 92, 250, 4x4,club, 5sp for my son any items to watch for.

it has 250k miles seems to run good.

Brakes, especially the rear, u joints, rust/rot, wiring hack jobs, cracked frame/steering box bracket, wasted front end parts/leaf springs. Pay attention to any noises coming from the trans/transfer case/diffs. The motor is the rock of the equation, they all run well. Everything falls apart/rots around it.
