I'm starting to look for a replacement for my 07 2500 QC 6. 7 w/Bighorn package. Must be 5. 9 w/Auto, Inferno or Black w/gray interior, SLT, QC, 4x4 and 100% stock. Send PM.

From about April-August dealerships were calling me offering "buy backs" on my '06 & '07 rigs, claiming they couldn't keep their used truck lot stocked 'cuz sales was so good.

'06 has 5k miles, always garaged.

'07, 20k miles also garaged.

When it got down to money their "best offer" was NADA dealer wholesale, a ridiculously small figure compared to new cost.

So, in these economic times, once you find private owned rig you like, dealer wholesale + a bit is a competitive fair offer if owner HAS to move the rig.

Freebore, I am just curious why you are wanting to get rid of your 6. 7? That said, I hope you find what you're looking for.

6. 7 is leaving (being returned) due to chronic history of problems with emissions (many new parts but advised more changes coming - will never trust it again), and 4-4. 5% fuel oil in crankcase every 5k miles - no matter what is deemed acceptable by mfg - it's not acceptable to me.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm with you on the fuel in the oil. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that is probably not too good for the engine. Not too mention that it probably drastically affects the ability of the engine oil to protect the motor. I hope you're getting a good price on it so you can go into another truck with a bit of equity. I've got a '07 5. 9 Auto and I love it. Just turned 31k with NO problems. It's hard to beat the track record of the 'ol 5. 9!
