I am looking for a Dodge dealer with a good service department in the Fort Huachuca AZ. area. I heard the dealer in Sierra Vista is not too reputable. I have a regeneration / clogged DPF problem and possibly a clogged EGR. I want to find a dealer who has experience in this area to fix the problem the first time. The truck is a 2008 2500 with less than 10,000 miles. I realize I may have to go to Tucson, but would rather not go that far. Your help is appreciated.

I have had great sucess with power dodge in north phoenix. granted that is pretty far from your location.

after my last service/update with the new sensors. i wrapped the exaust from the down pipe to the PDF and it does sucessful regens all the time now.

if you drive with the rpm at 1800 while in regen.

Thanks Troy

That is quite a distance, but I may need to go that far if I can't find someone else a little closer. Thanks for your reply.

In Phoenix if I needed a dealer was using Bill Luke but my truck is an early 2001. I don't know how they will do on the newer trucks and engines. Even though the times I used them it was ok I still needed to watch them. Example truck pulling to the left and they lower tire pressure in right tire and said they could not find anything. I think with any dealer you need to be knowledgeable before hand. Specially if you are going to have a long drive to get work done.

The Sierra Vista dealer has a very good Cummins mechanic named Steve. A friend of mine just had his C&C worked on over there. Turbo cleaned, EGR system replaced along with the DPF.

Thanks for the info. I will ask for Steve.

I'm sure you've found out by now, if you don't like the dealer in Sierra Vista, you're pretty much stuck with going to Tucson. But hey, it's only about an hour's drive and if you go up through Sonoita, it's kind of pretty too.
