Right now I'm happy with my puny 265/75's on the road, but I would like to get an extra set of bigger tires to bolt on when I visit the dessert/beach/sand. If someone has a set of 33-35" tires at least 12. 50" wide mounted on some crappy old rims collecting rust somewhere, let me know. My main priority is cheap! As long as they hold air and aren't all rotted out, bald is OK. It seems when I wasn't looking for any I saw them everywhere and now I can't find any for the life of me... if you know someone that might have some anywhere on the west side of the US, let me know...

Thanks,

Josh

Well, actually, one of the places I want to go with the tires is Oregon Dunes, so that's half way there. Are you on the close side of WA? I guess it depends on what you have as to whether it's worth it. ;)

Yeah, I've been all through the Oregon Dunes. That's where I shattered my collarbone in August and now have a pretty metal plate and 9 screws holding my shoulder together. The doc asked if I learned my lesson (about riding 'those evil' quads) and I said "yeah, I wasn't going fast enough" ;) But man it's beautiful country up there. Can't wait to go ride again. Speaking of which... still lookin for some cheap big tires on rims! :D

jeepdude,

I'll be replacing my 315/75R16s at Xmas when I'm in Oregon - the centers are worn from over inflation but they would be fine for the dunes/desert. Only problem is that they are tires only - no rims. If you want them let me know and I'll bring them back to Santa Rosa with me.
