Looking for a First Generation for my dad

I just subscibed to TDR. im a senior in high school and I bought my first dodge cummins a few months ago. Its a 1998. 5 24 valve quad cab. My dad WAS a big Ford man til He drove my cummins. Now he is looking for a first generation. Any ideas where to look.

First off welcome to the club. You could try and look in the local paper or try autotrader or a similiar site.



Not much help but thats where you could start.

I'm not sure what part of the country your from, but if its anything like central Illinois, there are a lot of farmers out there that wouldn't mind getting rid of their old trucks, but the dealer won't give them hardly anything for a trade in! Just put the word out and hopefully one will come out of the woodwork!

I've recently seen a very clean, very original looking white Gen I Cummins D250 Club Cab 4x4 sitting on a used truck lot in the small farming community of Idalou, TX which is a wide spot in the road about 10 miles east of Lubbock. It had a price tag of, I think, $3995 on the windshield.

You could try a EBAY search filter out every thing you are looking for and chances are there will be dozens to choose from. I saw a real nice 1st gen in Illinois for sale. Reg cab 4x4. real clean.
