Looking for a good CB, what do you have?

Thought I would post this as a poll. I know there are alot off CB'ers out there and I could use your assistance.



I'm looking for a good quality CB that does the job. I don't need alot of bells and whistle's (like weather and frequency displays but would like a nice one that works well.

One problem I've encountered is that due to my mounting location. (on my center cushion subwoofer) I'm sortof looking for a front or top mounted speaker. When I mounted my scanner there I couldn't hear out of the bottom firing speaker and had to get an external speaker.



The only CB's I've found that have front firing speakers are the Midland, Uniden and Cobra's. But I really like the Texas Ranger's.

Let me hear your thoughts. I've allowed for multiple choice. Oo.

Well CB's are fairly common in my town. We even have our own specialty/repair shop.



I run a Cobra 25 Sound Tracker (DO NOT by a sound tracker if you plan to have the radio internally modified) and wish I had bought the 25 LTD weather channel when I had the chance (wouldn't be any weather channels in it now )



If I told you it was stock I'd be lieing And for long distance's Mr. Galaxy is mounted on the junk keeper behind the seat.

If you don't need/plan to use side bands, get a Cobra

I started with a Radio Shack model but it was defective so I replaced it with a Uniden 68LTW. Seems like a better radio and is a bit smaller for mounting. I wanted a galaxy but it would not fit on the Brolin mount with my six speed and cup smoothie.
