5-speed clutch question

New intake letting stock turbo spool too fast?

I have a NEW ported, O-ringed head waiting to be installed. I'm looking for something that will withstand the heat on the exhaust ports (engine paint doesn't) and be able to deal with the road salt concoctions they use around here in the winter. I don't think header paint will hold up well unless it gets cured which is hotter that most of the head will ever get.

I'm considering ceramic coating it (I'm getting some other parts done anyway). Are there any other products that anyone has seen that would hold up?

Hey Erick, just leave it sit outside for about a month... ... ... It should get a good coat of surface rust going by then. The rust holds up real well, against the heat on the exhaust ports, on my head. Just a thought... ... . let me know what you think. By the way... you see the add in the classifieds for the parted out dually?

When I rebuilt my Jeep engine. I used POR15 Engine paint. It's been holding up for over 3 years now. I used yellow paint so I could see where the oil leaks might be coming from.

Por 20 doesn't do well on Cummins exhaust manifolds so I really doubt Por 15 will work on a 12v Cummins head. Seriously guys any real suggestions or solutions?

My experience with that paint is it's quite brittle. Does well until you strike something against it then it chips pretty easily, but seem to resist heat quite well.
