Trailer brake adjusting?

Towing and modified transmissions

A farmer friend is building a flatbed hay hauling trailer. He got an entire 30' trailer minus axles for nothing and is looking for two 12k axles to put under it. 10k axles as an alternative. Dually of course preferably with rims and tires. A really great deal would be axles set up for air brakes. He's got an '87 ford (something)8000 with a 10 speed transmission. So he's got plenty of truck for hauling hay. I'm helping him locate parts and thought someone on here would know where we could find axles. Used would be great, but would go new if the price is right. He also got a 12 ton winch which he's mounting on the front and is going to build a setup so the trailer self-unloads.

TIA

Axles

you might try Henderson Rim, in Salt Lake, they might have a store in your area. here they custom build, have tires and wheels, springs the whole lot. i replaced my TT axles and were not expensive at all. took a couple days to build. (not associated with the above business) just a customer.

I'll second Henderson's I'm replacing my toyhauler axles. Under a grand for custom axles, brakes, springs, tires and rims.
