I'm willing to drive over an hour for a good service dept that will take the time to listen and not rape your wallet.

And has a clue:p

anyone have any expirience with Keffer on Independence?

thanks

I haven't had an experience there, but driving by I didn't see a lot of Diesels (or even many trucks) on their lot - which may indicate that they lean more towards selling and servicing autos/mini-vans. Of course, maybe they hid all the big trucks that day where I couldn't see them.

I'm up near Lake Norman and whereas I haven't had to bring my truck in for service (since I do most of it myself), the Lake Norman Dodge seems to have had a number of big trucks pass through their lot. This probably doesn't help, but it's more just an observation. I know I've seen some other dealerships with more trucks on their lots.

I'll keep watching this post since I'm looking for a good dealer as well.

I bought my truck in Greenville SC, Big O dodge, it might be farther than you want to drive, but they treated me right, never had to argue. Now I bought mine there and USUALLY you get the best service from the dealer you bought from, but you never know.

I wish I could still take my truck to them.

lol

I'm just a minute south of Huntersville and have tried Lake Norman Dodge... wasn't too impressed.

right now Keffer has quite a few on the lot, I'm giving them a try tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

For future reference, be careful with Metrolina Dodge, they wanted to adjust the valves on my 19,000 mile '03:confused: and quoted $472 for the 20,000 service.

I wish I could go to the selling dealer for ervice but they are 4 hours away.
