I am looking for a lift kit for my truck. Brand new lift kits are rediculously expensive so I am wondering if anyone out there has a used kit that they can part with.

I am looking for a 2"-3" suspension lift kit. Enough to make my truck look good but not too high, I still want to stick to 285's and not make the truck look to high off the tires. Hopefully then my front left tire will quit rubbing that steering arm.

Or maybe does anyone know of a cheap, reliable lift kit out there?

Keep in mind this lift is going on a truck that pulls trailers. I have heard of guys getting lifts and ruining there suspension because the lifts were too weak.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this.

I just put a Skyjacker 2. 5" lift in mine. Kit includes front leaf pack, Ubolts for front, bushings, and real add a leaf to level. Before install, front bump stops were between . 5 and . 75 inches from frame. After they are almost 4". Truck looks good, not too tall. Be aware that your shocks may need to change. I am just finishing all of this up and will post a thread detailing my experience.

BTW, cost of lift from Rocky Mountain Suspension, $370 before shipping. New front spring packs (stock) from local spring company $550.

I'll second the skyjacker lift (part # D200CDAK). I paid $390 before installation. New shocks are recommended. I like the way it rides now and does give you some more travel in the front end. Looks good with my new Mastercraft 285s. I did have to lengthen my front driveshaft, should of done it before I busted the yoke and splines. Overall I'm very happy with the lift kit, still pulls a gn great. alonzo
