Competition What ever happend to BIG MAK?

I live in northern IL and i am looking for a new place to pull my diesel truck... . Does anyone know of a association maybe in southern wisconsin or another one in IL. I know that there is Illini State Pullers just wasn't for sure if there was another diesel class.

Send a PM to RPA on here. Brian has been working with a few clubs about several diesel classes in Illinios and eastern Iowa. Send me an email and I will put you on a list for a scedule for next year that has diesel pulls on it. You just missed the last one, Saturday night in Mt Pleasant Ia. About 3 hrs drive from Polo. There is also a fellow up in Cedar Rapids that pulls a Dmax around north eastern Ia.

Maybe try calling Schieds and talk to Brad Ingram I am pretty sure he pulls with at least one if not two Associations in Ill. I am not sure if they are northern or southern Ill.

Good Luck

FUL Power,

I live in Atlanta, GA but am from Sandwich, IL. Friends have pulled in the 7,000 tractor class in the Illini State Pullers for years. Check out http://www.illinistatepullers.com/ for rules and such. There is a 6500 lbs altered stock that pulls some diesels. There are 30-40 events a season. When I move back to IL, I'll be in there.

I have been pulling with Illinois State pullers for 3 years. the big think why i need to try to find another place to pull is that i need ladder bars. . Every time i pull i tend to spin up my rear end. last time i bent 7/8 inch U bolts that hold my rear end too my springs. . I guess the 14. 50 wide pit bull tires have too much traction... .

well i guess if they dont give us an altered diesel class tomorrow, i guess we will all pull stock class, and let everyone whine, cuz we have hot rodded trucks. i find out tomorrow.

How many diesels are running in ISP now? I haven't been to a pull in a year... I'm going through withdraw...

FUL POWER. . apparently I can't read... sorry!

P. S. Dad and I run around with Danenburg Farms ('62 Model 97 Massey). Love to see diesel pickups though.

Brad

like fulpower said about 10-12 trucks as regulars, in the stock class, no points and maybe a hundred bucks for first. we are ttrying to get a sanctioned classright now, as for the board members i have talked to a few of them and they like it, then at the next pull you hear of anotherone say there no chance. right now there is only 1 diesel truck running in altered stock gas, dave and josh stahl.

Never saw Josh run because I moved, but we went to highschool together. Dave does service on Dad's semi. I hear his truck runs well. Is Doug Bend in charge now?

yeah they had a screwed up pump for a while this year, took it to schieds. man that truck screams now, i think they ended up 3rd in altered stock this year. josh said they are going to super stock in '07. dave and josh are great guys.

yes doug bend it the prez. of isp now.

curt sold his truck about 2 years ago... He stills go to the pull and watches... He had a very good running truck... . I think the reason why he sold the truck is because ISP wouldnt let him pull his truck.
