Looking for deals on BHAF

Its finally dirty enough where I can. . er HAVE to buy a big honker! Anybody bought one latley for a smokin good deal?

I work at a general contracting construction company with lots of heavy equipment. The shop has a Fleetguard delivery everyday and I can order mine for $20. 00 through them. Someplaces obviously have tremendous markup cause they dont cost that much. Even ours are marked up a little.



It might be worth it to stop by a local construction company or equipment rental place and befriend them. If you're nice and act like you cant get it anywhere else, they might order one for you if you pay in advance. If you can get it close to their price, you'll be saving. Just an idea to get one cheap. Heck... a Napa OEM replacement is $34.

Are you near Cummins N Power? I get mine from the Grand Forks shop for around $30 plus tax.

If you are not set on the BHAF, I would get an AFE Megacannon (no AFE mount) filter only from Piers Diesel.

The price was really low, actually about 10 bucks more than I was paying for BHAF's!!



Use a piece of 4" white PVC to connect both, and you can make your own mount or heat shield.



A piece of 1. 5"-2" thick piece of styrofoam insulation works well to set the AFE on.
