Enclosed Trailer

Hello I am looking for a gooseneck equipment trailer, deckover 14 to 20k. Prices seem high. There is a used kuaffman 14k gooseneck 2001, needs paint for 3k. Is that high or not. what did this trailer sell for new. Used 20ks used are going 5k plus, and they need paint, tires.

Where are there good used trailers on the east coast?

anyone selling anything?

I have a '54 trailer with 12K dual tandem axles, 14' hydraulic dovetail, LED lights, pressure treated, and stained deck (looks like a freakin' $500 coffee table :D ). 20,000Lb D-rings every 3' on the frame rails. It has a 6'x6' deck over the gooseneck, 12,500 Winch w/remote and is painted Clearcoated metallic blue.

The deck is only ~30" off the ground.

$17k I'll deliver.

This is something like what I have, but the hydraulic portion is much longer, and it's a Clearcoated Metallic blue with D-Rings on the frame rails... http://www.brutetrailers.com/prod02.htm

If the 14K will work for you buy it. I can not build one for that. I have a 25 ft

with out a deck I use to haul poles and it cost me over 2K, when I put a deck

on it will easly be over 3K, the price of steel is up 30 to 50% last year.

3K is not bad, paint is cheap compaired to steel.

I have a 40' from www.brutetrailers.com that I got to do hotshot with. I have got into RV transport, so now I don't need the GN. I have it listed on the classifieds here on the TDR. Send me a pm if you are interested. Trailer has not been used, needs nothing.

In Colorado, if it helps, prices seem to be as follows. The new prices come from a local publication called The Fence Post: Roadboss GN Tandem dually, 22' + 5' dove combo x 102", 16" centers, led lights, 20K GVW, $7000.

25' footers from H&H, deckover, dove, GN, led lights, are about $4800 and easy to go $5K new.

I just bought a 1999 30' PJ GN, 80" wide, low-style, ramps, new tires, brakes and bearings are fine, paint shows some chips, deck is perfect, 14k gvw, for $2500. From what I am seeing, a good deal and on the low end for used.

TheFencePost.com might show you some of the newer stuff.

Does anyone know how I can contact "Brute Gooseneck trailers"?

I went to their website but the hyper-link to contact them does not work. Kinda hard to buy/sell stuff when the website is broke!

Thanks!

I can buy direct from manufacture... . there is a big difference in price vs quality. How big of "I" beams etc. I bought a used 28' 14gvw for $3500 2003 model needed a little tlc , nothing major. BUT it doesn't have the big "I" beams on it. 8" I think, I can buy from a trailer manufacture and get one with 10" I beams (only 24') BUT it would cost me a good amount more even at dealer cost.
