Looking for new injectors - unable to source!

I have now over 220,000km on my truck and it is starting to take slightly more cranking to start each time. I'm putting in a rail pressure gauge hoping to learn more. My lift pump is putting out 15psi, but I decided it is time to move up to 50hp injectors.



Making some calls to fine a new set of new style injectors (before a major failure) I have found the CR injectors are back ordered, not just a few days but a couple of months or more! Talking to both shops in Canada and the States it seems that Bosch has really dropped the ball here!



Am I missing something here? I have put my name on a list at Dynomite Diesel for a set of 50hp injectors but it sounds like summertime before I'll get any.

Even the stock ones are on B/O at Cummins. I talked to a guy the other day who had over 650k kms ( over 400k miles ) on his 05 with the original injectors. 220kms ( 137k miles ) is not a lot really. Have you tried some good inj cleaner, like Fleetguard Asphaltene conditioner? If you want a set of rebuilt stock injectors PM me. I'll check with my contacts on Monday. Shadrach

Call Todd at TC Diesel, Blaine MN. He is a member here, and stated just a couple of days ago that he had new Bosch injectors, I believe he get's his modded tips from II.
