Looking for a new NOS washer fluid reservoir / bottle for the crew cab. Mine is all nasty and yellowed.

Anyone know of any companies repoping these or of any places selling left over new Mopar ones?

Thanks!

Robert

There is a company in snowflake Arizona that sells old Chrysler obsolete parts, but I have no idea if they have what you need

Robert,

There is a company called Vintage Parts that buys up old inventory from many different brands. HOWEVER, you can not buy directly from them. Your local Dodge dealer would have to do it.

This is the same company that Daimler Truck NA uses when they clean out old stock from the 7 PDC's across the country. I use them several times a month for Freightliner parts.

You CAN, however check inventory. Use the link below, I already selected "Chrysler Motor Corp" in the left hand selection box. You can input the part number in the right hand box. I assume that you have a part number????

Or you can go page by page if you leave the Right Hand part number box blank. Hit the magnifying glass to the right when you are ready to search.

Are they located in Snowflake that name sounds familiar??
The Dodge parts book shows no availability. Many times it will refer you to the place in Snowflake, not in this case though

Did you score a part number and try it in the Vintage Parts locater??

I believe they are located in Wisconsin.

Mike.

I can check the dodge microfiche when I get home, but no I don't have the PN currently.

I did check with vintage via my dealer a year ago and they didn't have any..... hence this post. :(

I came up with 04467346 using a '92 for a vehicle. That may a newer number.

Found that in the parts book links stickied in the third gen , no engine/tranmission section.

Mike.

So it doesn't even show a part number in that case, right??

Suppose someone might have an old printed book or something???

Mike.
Found a nber in the rambook. Our locator system checks all dealer resources. No parts in stock anywhere

Maybe people need to start requesting LMC to build these parts , you think theyd make money from it

Been trying that for 3 years... . they say there's not enough interest... . I've tried getting them, Coverlay, and various other local shops to make door panels, cab trim, grill pieces, dash trim, and other things, but to no avail... . If I could afford the money for the dies, I'd get some made, but that hasn't happened, yet..... :{

First gen era trucks (1981-1993) are just on the edge of being restoration projects. With my crew cab I was one of the first however I see in the last few years that it is becoming more of a common word. Now that it is, demand will start going up. And that means parts. Look at it. We now have window motors, regulators, grills, door seals, etc now available. I see it as a matter of time. The question is will it be quality or **** repros... . :(

I admire you guys. I love the first gen trucks, and if I was able to have a different situation, I'd likely still be driving one today. I joined the TDR owning a '92 and I loved that truck. I'm also a MOPAR enthusiast, and have been involved in the resto hobby since the mid- 80's in different degrees. I've watched all the muscle car parts come on the scene, and if you guys can organize (even outside the TDR) you might be able to spearhead an item like the reservoir.
I know one entrepreneurial muscle car parts dealer who might be interested in hearing about this. If he dosen't want to get involved he may give pointers. He's repro'd lots of stuff.

Yeah you would miss your old truck then. I always find it funny at the national how's like Carlisle and nats how many of these trucks are still used as the car haulers. Makes me so happy. :)

Ah Tony D! Yes he is a guy that would get it enough to make them. Always liked Tony. Also like his car collection. :D
