Having trouble with my Truck. (Low Boost, Black Smoke, High EGT). Have checked out a few things but I cannot find the problem. Looking for a Cummins Diesel performance shop or someother shop that has a good reputation.

Brandon is also a great resource :D

sounds like boost leak some where. get a 3. 5" cap, 4" hose 4"s long, thread a air fitting into the end of it, hook about 150 25 psi into it, have it hooked to the intake of the turbo, and listen for a leak. I'm located near Fresno, if u can't figure it out, swing on by, ... Reb

Sorry But...

Nobody mentioned on this thread can hold a candle to Blair Pine in San Jose. He's been up and down the 12v engine before anyone else mentioned even owned a Cummins powered truck.

How's your cat Blakemore, plugged?

I second that about Blair Pine He's amazing !! And quick too !! His user name is BPine you can PM him and he will reply .

thanks

Thank you all very much for your advice. Running no muffler and a knocked out cat. Talked to Brandon, he suggested a few things. I will contact Blair ASAP.

Thanks

Allen
