Is there any publication companies that sell a manual for my injector pump?

I would like to get some kinda idea on how my injection pump works. I understand that you need special tools to service an injector pump and I don't intend on tampering with my pump, but it sure would be nice to understand how the system works!

For several years I've always wanted to understand how an injector pump works, but never succeded in finding any manuals. Seeing a parts break down illustration would explain volumes, further this would help me out with troubleshooting my CTD when issues need to be addressed. I'm not sure if limited access is orchestrated copyrights or epa but truth be known those books are out there!

Any information in regards to finding manuals will help out tremendously in the study of my Bosch P7100 injection pump.

Thanks folks! HCanales

Thanks Andy, I will give them guys a try. Maybe at best they carry the specific manual or could even give me the book #.

Again, thanks!

Bosch manual

I was at power motive in Denver yesterday and asked a very expeirenced Tech the same question. He said unfortantley there was not a shop or service manual available. I do not know if they were pulling my leg, but he seemed pretty sure of himself. Please post if you find one, as I would like one also.

My guess on that issue is maybe you need a special license to aquire an injector pump manual. Its kinda on the same lines as HVAC, you need a epa

license since your dealing with fuel calibration and emissions(that be my guess). I'm still going to try the resorce Andy Redmond gave me http://www.boschservice.com/public/...automotive.html and see what happens. I also have seen do-it-yourself rebuilding kits for Stanadyne/Roosta to include every thing but fuel calibration(but nothing for Bosch pumps). But if someone on here knows something else please share your info, Thanks! :)
