looking for some basic info on my new 04.

just bought an 04. today. i am looking for some basic info.....



1. like what kind of pump does this rig have?

2. does this one have lift pump issues like the older 24V's?



what about other things like.....



should i get larry b's starter contacts?



does this truck have a shut down solenoid? and therefore a relay?



what issues does this truck have? like the kdp issue on the early trucks.



just some basic to do's is what i'm looking for. or do i just drive the **** out of it like i did my 12V.

A GOOD ONE... Common rail

2. does this one have lift pump issues like the older 24V's?

Does not seem to... although big fuelers use a FASS.

Have not heard about that for Gen 3

There is a fuel shut off selenoid somewhere on all diesels. No problems with them

what issues does this truck have? like the kdp issue on the early trucks. Lots right. Some have vibrations but you would know that now. 04 seems pretty trouble free
