I am getting ready to install gauges and would like to get some info on who makes the best gauge cluster mount. I have no fear of losing the grab handle as I do not use the thing anyway.

Oh and by the way, it is good to be back. Oo. :D

Divorces have a way of side tracking a person. Sorry to see her go but glad she is gone. No more :-{} .

In terms of pillar mounts, they're basically all the same. I got a 2-gauge from Geno's and removed the grab handle. No complaints.

phloop,

Lots of the members have gotten the color molded replacement 2 and 3 gauge A pillars that are for sale, it's pretty much all we sell for a 2003+ truck anymore. That way you are not cutting up your stock pillar and this one is already color matched, not painted etc.

Mark @ DPPI

This is what I have, fits and looks great, just unscrew the grab handle and save it... didn't want to lose my grab handle either, but after a couple of days, you won't notice it being gone.

BTW on my truck, you can't see the backside of the gauges through the front windshield with this set-up.

I have heard that if you have side airbags you can't use a replacement pillar mount Does anyone have any informtion on this?
