Looking for taller tires

I am looking for some taller tires for my 04 truck. I dont want to go wider if i can help it. I would like to have something like a 235/85 but havent been able to find anything in a 17".



my goal is to get my rpms down to 2000 or less at 70 mph so a couple inches higher would be great. going for mileage and dont want the wider tires.

Looking at your reader's rig you seem to have a single in the rear.



I also see from your signature that you have a 4x4. Doesn't that already come with 265?



You are wanting 235/85 which to me is smaller than what you have.



BFG makes an AT tire 315/70/17 that will fit on your stock rim without a lift.

I have not seen anything, a 235/85/17 is actually taller than a 265/70/17. Some tire companies make a 255/85/16, if would great if they made a 255/85/17, I would rather have that size than the 315s I have now.

that is what i am looking for. I dont want the width of the 315's. I have seen the rickson packages but waaaayyy too much $$$ for me right now. the 255/85's would be great or the 235/85 but no luck in finding them in a 17.
