i HAVE A 99 2500 4X4 AND IN NEED OF SHOCKS THAT RIDE NICE AND LOOK GOOD AS WELL

THE TRUCK IS NOT LIFTED IT HAS 285/75/16 TIRES BFG MT

THANKS

I beleive Bilsteins are very good for the money. I have run mine almost 100,000 mi. and they still work well

I just put the zinc plated Bilsteins on my 99 4x4. They look good (almost chrome), and ride great.

Bought them from TDR site vendor eshox.com. good price and fast shipping.

If you tow a 5th wheel trailer put Rancho 9000's on the rear. The ride difference of setting them to 1 empty and high numbers when towing works very well. Front weight is pretty static, so I put Rancho 5000's on the front. 5+ years without a problem. SNOKING

I'm not a fan of the Rancho's. I had a set of the 9000's on a Toyota with the in-cab air adjustment set-up, and over a period of one year, I went through two sets of them. They kept puking fluid. Luckily, a local shop where I bought them swapped them out via warranty. My recommendation is a monotube design, and if you plan on being real crazy, maybe look for some of the remote reservoir styles. I'm contemplating them if the prices come down a little bit.

SkyJacker... .

Thats what I installed at EEP this summer while working on the truck. SkyJacker Hydro 7000's and I was amazed at how nice the handled and rode. Very cost efficent and while I am not one for the white shocks on my red truck, they do break up all the red somewhat.

I had ran the Edelbrock Peformer IAS series shocks on it before thee and loved them also. The one drawback was they,Edelbrock, would not do any type of lifted shock for a leveled suspension for a 2500 or 3500. So I gave them to a puller I know who put them to good use and as far as I know he still has them... ... ... Andy
