Archived Looking for transfercase

Oo. Looking for a used transfer case or just the empty cases I'll know more tonight. Just busted mine today when it dropped the front driveshaft, it appears that whoever did work for the previous owner never installed the c-clips on the ujoint caps to keep them from walking out. I just bought the truck in December and I've been working through some problems. Was running good for a few days! Fortunately I've got a heated garage and a lift, seems I've been my own best customer lately!!!!!

Any help or leads would be appreciated.



BTW, it's for my '99.

Thanks for the leads, I called transfercase.com, they sounded very knowledgeable. They said they would build me a case and implement upgrades base on the failures they have seen in the past. larger gears and Morse chain being one of the upgrades and a 1 year warranty. said they would start building it that same day. Hope to have it tuesday and be back on the road. .

These guys are crooks! I had them send me 5 of their remanned trannies in a years period because they kept breaking something and all I was running was a Hypertech and RV 275 injectors. They told me I was just running too much power! I finally got a totally rebuilt transmission after I threatened to get an attorney involved. My local transmission shop looked at the last one before I sent it back (I only ran it 3233 miles before it went south) and he said it appears they are only fixing whats broke and calling them a reman. Buyer beware!!!
