Any body have any ideas on where to get a V belt pully that will fit the 01 CTD so I can mount a hydrolic pump for a Fisher MM plow set up? I have the ability to modify the pully to fit if need be. Would the older Dodge trucks have a vee belt pully of the same bolt patern as the 01 6 bolt water pump flange? Or a balancer mounted one? Any tips here would be much appreciated. Thanks

Machine an adapter from the stock pulley pattern to whatever pully you want to run and mount it in front of the stock pulley. If it will require much HP to run you should add it to the crank if possible so it's direct drive instead of through the serpentine belt. Cummins probably makes a pulley to add on at the dampener that won't require any machine work. If cummins can't find it check with someone who sells service boxes, underhood generators, or air compressors. A lot of service trucks run a belt driven air compressor or generator. I don't remember who sells them but there is also an outfit that make a little welder/alternatorthat adds on. Jake

Jake,

Thanks for the reply. Looks like Ill check with Cummins first, Before I get into fabing one for the water pump pattern.

Try this Cummins PN 3919624. It's for a accessory drive pulley that mounts in front of the damper, no machining required. I'd bet it has a updated #.
