Looking to get a chip or reprogrammer...

... but I'm a first time Cummins owner so I'm not sure what to get. I don't tow very often, but would love to have the benefit of better fuel economy and a little more power if/when I need it. I was just wondering if y'all had any suggestions of which products would best suit my needs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

The edge juice with attitude would be good start if your only gonna stay mild, as it comes with the power and the gauges all in one..... there are also some others that have built in gauges i think... .



You could do a number if different things depending on your gauge situation... . Analog or digital.....





If you go to far say 75-100hp over stock your gonna need a clutch.



May also want to do air intake, or exhaust... ... . I'm sure others will chime in with opinions also... ... :-laf

Your 04. 5 already has 4" exhasut on it. it will help a little to remove that cat and muffler and replace it with something more free flowing, but if you wnat to keep it quiet leave it. You won't gain much at the level of power you are looking at.



Lots available. Like posted, the Edge Juice/Attitude is nice becasue it give you a nice kick in the pants for power, its adjustable on the fly, and includes gauges. Whenever uping the power you need to install gauges to keep an eye on things.



The TST is a great box, but more expensive than the Edge. The gauges on it are very basic but it performs like MAD!! A great box for everyday driving, towing, or racing.



Quadzilla has several boxes available, adjustable and not. Expect to purchase gauges.



Same for downloaders. Expect to purchase gauges.



There is litterally tons of stuff out for these trucks.

I guess I forgot to include on my signature the fact that I had the muffler removed a while back, but I still have that cat on. Thanks for the input and help so far. There are a lot of products out there, so I'm just trying to figure out which one would be the best value for my situation.
