Looking to go to Kahr .380....

The Sig Sauer P238 380 is nice and compact, but its kinda heavy.

No Striker TYPES my Son has a few he's a Glock guy, he shoots well enough but needs to pratice more than he does. The Glock people say that you can't shoot lead, jacketed bullets are expensive for practice, I don't like plastic guns anyway. As far as heavy goes I don't mind weight plastic guns recoil more making follow up shots that much more difficult. I carry so much its like getting up and putting a watch on I DONT GIVE IT MUCH THOUGHT EXECPT THAT MY PERMIT GOES IN MY POCKET THEN THE GUN GOES ON TO THE POINT OF OBSESSION

I’ve been seriously considering an LCR in 327 for my wife. It’ll let her practice with 32 long ammo so it doesn’t beat her up. Are you as happy as you hoped you’d be with yours?

Yes I love it, usually shoot/carry my SP101 though. LCR makes a great life jacket gun for kayaking. Recoil a little stout with .357 full bore loads but tolerable for me with Hogue grip. .327 should be a great choice for her.

My carry piece. 2nd Gen Colt Cobra. I had the action set up for DAO and the hammer bobbed. It's not a Python action but it's nice and smooth, easy to fire. I made the grips.

Howdy, all, again.... Sorry I sort of abandoned you, but, it looks like you kept yourselves entertained. I guess the .380 Kahr thought was just a fleeting fancy, as I didn't even realize that I was the one that started this thread.

Anywhooo...... it occurred to me that even with all the iron, wood, polymer and "other" that I've accumulated over the years, a decent .22LR squirrel rifle was absent, so, I got what might be an indecent squirrel rifle. Picked up a Savage A22 with the nifty gray laminated thumbhole stock.

Anybody got an idea what would be an optic worthy of such a magnificent piece of iron and wood? Small-game hunting and small-target brag-plinking would be the intended employment.
